The magical universe and Esoteric society in which Divination is played is sprawling, and deeply interwoven with the tarot. It is also a society full of humans living in a world very much like our own, with the same human drives and desires and problems and questions we face. And so while the game’s universe is large and deep and rich, it is also deeply familiar and is essentially the answer to the question, “What if us but magic?”
Looking at the humanity in everything? That’s pretty tarot.
